Born in Haiti, Ms. Dimanche recalls with fondness the art pieces she admired in cultural museums as well as the common markets of her early years. She moved to New York at the age of 16. There she studied to become a registered nurse, considering a career in art as impractical.
While nursing continues to be a very significant part of her life, Claire-Elise realized she could no longer ignore her creative urges. Essentially self-taught, she studies art at Palm Beach Community College.
About Her Art Work
Photographs can be purchased framed as shown, or only matted so you can frame them yourself. Sizes will vary from 8"x10" to 11"x14". The photographs are signed by the artist and numbered, making them Limited Editions.
A few of the paintings will be available as originals. However,
Giclées of all the paintings are also available. Giclées are produced from digital scans of existing artwork and are of superior quality.
